CRANBERRY HARVEST STARTS IN WISCONSIN
A grower works to remove cranberries off of the vines at Cranberry Creek Cranberries in Necedah, Wis. Cranberry harvest is starting more than a week early this year in Wisconsin due to unseasonably cool fall evenings and good summer growing conditions. More than 250 Wisconsin cranberry growers will harvest an estimated 5.6 million barrels of fruit this season, which is approximately one-half of the entire world’s supply. (Feature Photo Service)
